I love kids but ..
Though some mothers let their kids get away with the worst stuff. I remember one day I was working the fitting rooms and a mother came with her son with three or four pairs of jeans for him to try on, and this kid was apparently quite frustrated because, "Mom! I DON'T want to try on jeans! Let's just go HOME!" and she would say, "It's just a few pairs, it won't take long, we just need to get some back to school shopping done." And he would say, "NO MOM. Just buy them all and we'll return what doesn't fit, let's just go HOME!" (and boy was he yelling at this point.) And mom said, "Okay sweetie, we'll go home." Wow, how does mom let her son talk to her that way? When I am a mother, my kids are going to RESPECT me. That's how I feel about that anyway. My kids will not get away with talking to me or their father like that, I strongly believe that children need to respect their parents.
On the other hand, this cute little boy was running around hiding in the clothes and jumping out at me as I hung them up today. He was SO cute! Sometimes I just adore kids!
I hope you enjoyed that huge block of text about kids, I am going to tell you about the dress I got today! It's so cute, and will probably be perfect for clubbing, which I will be legally old enough to do in 9 days!
I also got this year's birthday tiara today. Every year I buy myself a new tiara, to remind people that I am actually a princess. But on my birthday, I am the QUEEN!
DRIPPPPP
Really though, is it just me, or does she always look extremely sick and tired no matter where she is or what role she's playing? It kind of grosses me out to be honest ... she seems unhealthy.

Because she wanted to dress as the Madhatter for something. I don't really get what it was for really, but I told her to send me a picture of the whole ensemble. I wish she had given me a bit more notice though, because I could have done way better on the hat! I would have added some ribbon ... ah well, too late now, and she was quite happy with it.
Then today I went to the circus (I did research on this one, as far as I can tell there are no scandals involving animal abuse since 2003, so I think they're pretty good to their creatures and they did seem happy). And after the circus, Emilee, Jen, Chris and Jackson went for a drive through the countryside and watched two storms that were coming from either side of us. It was pretty epic and my sister got some pictures that I can hopefully steal from her and post on here. After the storms quieted down, it kept raining pretty hard so we came back down and I put my dirty muddy countryside legs in the puddles (which were surprisingly extremely warm).
Hahahaha my legs got so gross and muddy xD

Off to a good start...
I finally was able to go to the post office and pick up my hair (the postman is afraid of dogs and won't come to the door to deliver if my dog is outside, and I've been too busy with other things to go and get it). Here is the beginnings of a wicked new set of falls! I only have about 13 dreads made so far ... I like to have about 30-35 dreads on each of my falls, so there is still a lot of work to do. I don't really like fresh made dreads ... I can never make them smooth right off the bat ... luckily after a couple of wears they kind of loosen and smooth themselves out. But when they are brand new ... ugh, they feel so scratchy and hard and lumpy. At least these ones are going to look awesome and match my pretty new hair colour:
(please excuse the greasiness, we don't have AC at work)

One of the main things I look for in a favourite band is how danceable the music is. The lyrics also have a lot to do with it. Unfortunately, it's pretty hard to find dance music that has really good lyrics. Fortunately, the Knife has both good dance beats and really interesting lyrics. I'm not exactly sure what they mean a lot of the time, but they sure are some lyrics.
Also, my dread hair got here a while ago, but the postman didn't want to come up to our house to deliver it because of my dog, haha. So tomorrow I have to go and get it. And tonight I have to colour my hair a nice, violent purple colour. Yes, VIOLENT.

BLOG NUMBER 50!!!!!
Then tonight I went to see Avatar: The Last Airbender. I think I would reccomend it. It was pretty darn epic ... a little bit corny at some bits and I had to laugh during thsoe bits, but the rest of it was quite good. Nice and action packed and only one single five second scene of romance which makes at least 4/5 stars in my books. Romance is BORING.
Oh one more thing to document: I finally finished Heavy Rain. Now I can add it to the not so extensive list of video games I've completed.
Super Mario 64
Kirby 64
Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker
Yoshi's Story (haha)
HEAVY RAIN yayayayay.

Spontaneous piercings FTW
After:
The parade was long and kind of lame and boring after a short while, but I had nothing else to do today and they gave us candy even though we're "way too old." Pff, too old for candy, what a load of bull ...
And the duck that was bigger than him!
And the inchworm I found when we went back home and had a campfire!
Yesterday was pretty rad too, I went over to my friend Cassie's house and had a couple drinks before we went out to watch the Canada Day fireworks (which were extremely lame this year, or maybe I just missed all the good parts because Cassie had had a couple of drinks extra before I came and didn't quite have her head and I had to keep her out of trouble ...). Haha, oh boy drunk people. A kid came up to me asking for a hug and I was like, "Whoa ... what grade are you in?" Turns out he was in grade ten and he thought it was SO BADASS that he had a tattoo of some girly Chinese lettering on his arm. Well, whatever floats your boat little one.
